Another Dawn Beach update
A panorama of the contruction site. You can't see the Dawn Beach Estates beach access from this vantage point, but they have now dug some foundation holes there, so I don't really think it is available for pedestrian access anymore. Unless you are a very determined pedestrian.
Construction at Princess Heights in full swing, still noisy.
The Coral Beach condos - it's hard to see in this photo, but the unit on the pond side is up and pretty big, close to the road. There will not be parking anywhere here, unless one of those buildings is a parking garage. They do sort of look like it...

I will be staying in st. maarten at dawn beach mid in a week, do you know much about the villa ocean beach paradise. Any safety tips about the island (such as crime or places not recommended to go).
Also any must see things in St. Maarten, is dawn beach crowded?
Is there good hiking views there that are accessible?

I don't know anything about the actual house but the location is great, there are steps down to the beach from there.
Dawn Beach is not too bad at the moment, as we are in low season and there is construction at one end.
I think Loterie Farm is a great place to go in SXM - it's purty, they have guided hikes, a zip line adventure and a good restaurant.
